So, I've not posted a real entry on this blog for quite some time; so I shall do it now.
I'm currently helping out with three different internet startups and working on my own projects.
Life is busy, I just wish I got paid more.
Working with startups is something very cool, but also very hard. I don't work your regular 9-5 work hours. I work much more than that. Typically working until at least 3-4 in the morning.
Why? Because there is so much to do. On each of the three startup ventures, I am the lead developer. That means, I have to do a lot of work on my own. Time management is something I'm not too good about, but I have been getting better lately since I have so much too do.
And then there are the people I have to deal with. The people either higher up or on the same level, they know what they want to see, but have no idea how the internet works (or websites for that matter). I absolutely hate these people; why can't I just DO MY JOB!!?!
Anyway, that's my rant, expect some more posts documenting my life through startups :)Labels: programming, websites |
